Peter & Jolanda Huijskens ... that's us!

Since September 1999 together in "dé Faubourg", Jolanda mainly in the kitchen and Peter in the cafe!

Peter started tapping lagers and everything that comes with it in 1978. In a then well-known student and truant pub in Roermond and has made quite a few wanderings in the time until now, also outside the hospitality industry.

In the end, a completely unique phrase has emerged from this... a cafe in an old-fashioned cozy style where Burgundian food is (has become) the most important part. Faubourg St.Jacques is therefore certainly not a "restaurant", but an eatery with an emphasis on "eat", and... music is often pleasantly "present"!
